Elektron Musical Instruments

Hi folks

I have a Machinedrum running (midi-out) into a Korg SX-1 (midi-in),
and have the two synch'd so that when I press <Play> on the MD the
Korg starts playing it's current pattern. Then I add a Midi-machine
(M1 track) and trigger a PCHG to be sent to the Korg, which works on
the beat nicely. But when the MD pattern resets to beat #1, the Korg
resets to it's original pattern (i.e. the pattern which it was on
before the PCHG was received). 

So basically I'm confused.. I checked whether the other M2-M4 was
setup with a conflicting PCHG, but that's not the case. I also did a
record of the MD midi output into my computer to see all the data
being sent and don't see two PCHG events. I'm not sure whether the
reset is coming from the MD or the Korg is doing it.
