You need to assign a MIDI module of the same number as the channel on the synth you're trying to sequence. i.e. if you choose MIDI machine 03 for a track, all data on that track will be sent from the MIDI out port on channel 3. Then you need to have a MIDI cable going from the SPS-1 MIDI out to the MIDI in port on your synth, and have that synth setup to receive on channel 3. You can of course send on any of the 16 channels via the 16 MIDI machines, and the track that they're assigned to has no relation to their MIDI output. Hope this helps... ps- I have also found it important to set the base channel(s) of the SPS-1 to something other then the channels I'm sequencing. This way the MIDI notes and controllers generated by the TRX, EFM, E12, and PI machines don't trigger the external synth I'm sequencing. i.e. I have the SPS-1 set to base channel 13-16, and am sequencing my Pulse on channel 1. --- In elektron-users@y..., "wayneferrer" <krupir@h...> wrote: > Call me stupid, I was unable to have midi machines working....
