Elektron Musical Instruments

Hi, me again.. Sorry I'm flooding this list with questions, but I 
just got my machinedrum, so I'm playing with it 24/7.

I crashed it for the first time today =(.  On OS1.09b, I was playing 
a pattern and as soon as I pressed the 16/m4 trigger button, the unit 
locked up and a high pitch squeal came out.  I could do nothing but 
turn it off.  When I turned it back on, the machine would hang at the 
elektron logo.  After doing a soft reset, it worked again.  This 
crash is mysteriously similar to post 1483 on this elektron list 
where he, and others who later replied, also crashed, squealed, their 
unit upon triggering or tweaking m4.  

I'm doing a Self Test now.  It states 'DSP OK', but then it seems to 
be stuck on 'Function Test'.  It's been there for 20 minutes.  Is 
this normal?
