Don't know if the faster register rate is even possible to do with 
only a OS update (I think the processor controlling the chip is not 
fast enough). Still I completely agree, that separate midi channels 
for each oscillator is something that should be added to the os. It 
would make the Sid Station _much_ more useful. This might require 
major re-progamming of the OS, but I think it would be worth it 
(especially when I don't have to do it myself :-P ). Now, for me the 
Sid Station is a bit of a star-head screwdriver; you don't use it too 
often, but when you need it, it's just the tool for the job. ;)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
