As far as I know the Machinedrum cant do that, but you can assign them to
any midi note...wont that work for you?

Subject: [elektron] assigning tracks to midi channels

hello all,

please excuse my minimal knowledge of midi, but i'm trying to find a
way to assign individual tracks (BD, SD, etc) on my MD to certain
midi channels so that i can control patches assigned to that channel
on my nord modular... problem is i can't seem to figure out how to
set this up in the MD or find anything in the manual that touches on
this subject or makes sense to me. closest thing i can find is maybe
setting up something the midi map editor... am i on the right track?
is this even possible to do on the MD?

i remember using the dr-202 drum machine and i was able to assign
*just* the bass track to a particular midi channel to achieve this
effect.

anyways,
thanks in advance
k
