Sounds like the MD fails to send all the necessary note-off messages, which kinda keeps the triggered sounds 'hanging' in the sustain phase of their respective envelopes. This sometimes even happens to our TB-303 when din-synced to the MPC2000-XL. Funny, maybe annoying .. but never a real problem in live or studio situations.
