Hi all,
I am going to put my little touch on this tences... =; )

I agree but don't forget the "groove"...  The "groove"!!!
I've been much many times more much (loosing my words... he heeee) attracted
by a good swingy groove,
rather than by a static rythm two times with a Punchy sound (an exemple).
Well... mix both and you have the best in groovy percussions.
Of course you have to consider what you want to express...
But don't focus only in the SOUND... I think it's limited and not so!!!
That's why usualy i am bored when i hear two times rythmics.
Question of tastes also...
And of course you have also to consider the mix because sometimes you have a
Supra Bassdrum sound that doesn't fit in the whole mix...
Pretty frustrating if you don't alter some sounds... But at the final you
get what you want if you work hard.
Well what you want......... it's the art of mixing music!!!

You tips sound precessing is very welcome. I like when somebody talks as you
did!!! =: )
It's much appreciated and shows that there is a quest in the "sound" and in
the rythmics experiment.
