Hey all, just thought I would share my idea with anyone who hasn't tried it yet. I didn't ever use the classic/extended mode switch because extended mode has so much more control. But you can switch between the two modes in the middle of or several times during a pattern and get some great variations. some examples: You could have a pattern where in classic mode the pitch of the bass drum is constant, but in extended mode the pitch is sequenced into a bass line. or you could use it to drop in a snare roll where the classic mode pattern has the snare volume down and the extended mode uses parameter locks to create a crecendo. It's almost like having two patterns for each pattern slot. the classic mode pattern will usually be more plain without all the parameter locks, but I have used it to get anywhere from a slight variation to extreme changes that make it almost another pattern entirely. I like to switch between the modes several times during a measure, to really fuck things up. It's fun to have another button to jam with :) Thanks, Ben
