Well, it seems some of the current users couldn't give a rats arse about there being a 909 hat sample in the thing or not. Others (like myself) have tried to recreate the sound, with some succes. Still, I can't see why a few extra machines would be something to object to. (these would NOT cost extraDSP, the number of simultanious machines would still be 16, they would cost some memory, but Elektron could kill that elvis for sure) The MD would even be more of a joy to use for me (and a lot of potential buyers). It would suck if these (and many other) improvements would be abailable in the MD mkII and not in the MD v.1.2... I honestly don't understand people who might object to extra functionalities that Elektron *might* provide...I sure as hell was *Ver* happy when novation gave me the extra filters and oscillator models for my Nova when they realesed their OS4. Not that I didn't like my 3.1 Nova...on the contrary! Why don't we get a whishlist going? (we are already, aren't we?) Maybe someone from Elektron will pick some of our ideas up. ps. here's a few extra ideas: a) Show real parameter values (ms, hz etc) instead of 0-127 when turning knobs. b) Make lock settings easier to copy from one grid postition to another...(so I can program only one 16th note and copy the settings of that note to every 2nd 16th note...) c) Give my those 909 hats. With 8 parameters!
