hey, wait a minute, I thought it was just my MD, but it's not.
I've noticed it's definitely related to two things (for me):

1) power-on time, gets lighter after about 1 hour (yes, I often sit
   with the thing for 1-3 hours at a time!)

2) when lots of LED's are on.  E.g.  press func+mute and watch the
   screen nearly disappear.

I *thought* that maybe it was my fault, because I was plugged
a weird, tube-based fx processor into it.  Have you two guys
been using the audio inputs at all?  If so, what have you been
plugging in?
