This was what I was thinking about when reading these. There is one for the korg MS2000 that a user created. It's a patch randomizer program for the sysex. But I don't know much about scripting for this kind of thing. This in my opinion would be much more simple than having to use the MD buttons. I agree about the factory presets. I just saved it all erased it. I did save some of the basic kits however. I was thinking of a note retrigger would be interesting. I don't know what happens when you hold function and a note button however. But the idea would be to have a retrigger button and some notelength timer like the midi machines. But now it's looking too complicated. The mpc has this feature and it's quite usefull. They were saying they couldn't change the sequencer much or the midi machines. And I requested this. But having the midi machines to recieve and record only the note data from an external keyboard would be very helpful for me at least. I always have to go back and program what I was playing over my sequence. But it doesn't look like they are even going to touch this in the os.
