to all pple having trouble with midiox, you may want to try this. It is a
collection of midi tools written by Jack Deckard long time ago. In there
there is a program call 'sex' which is a very small easy to use sysex
librarian. I havn't my Md hooked up so I can't try it rite now but it never
fail to work with other devices. I've put the archive at

http://n0s.10pm.org/temp/midtol32.zip

Run the sex.exe program inside it then follow the followin steps: (again
could not check it, sorry it approximative)

> Special > Midi Setup for input and output
> File > Save Multiple Message to recieve dump from the MD [click all done
when dump is finished].
> File > Send sysex file to send it back.

Hope this helps
