RCA are only used in "consumer" and DJ markets. It has never reach professional level which prefer by far the XLR, then the TRS, then the mono jack. Your split cable is already a good solution. The better one is active splitter. The splitter I found for Aaron is $69 if I remember. Could be worse. And they sell online. If your actual system work ok, why would you change.
