I'm not sure I understand your cabling problem. you have a Y-adapter
with one 1/4" plug on one side, and two RCA sockets on the other?

if you have pan controls in Logic, splitting the mono signal is
redundant. why not leave it in one channel with the pan set to center?

the SidStation is a mono instrument. splitting its output in two does
not make it stereo without additional processing.

surely you have a radio shack in your town? part numbers 274-880 or
274-304 are 1/4 to RCA splitters.

might I suggest leaving the DJ mixer hooked to the turntables and
getting a mixer more suited for studio work? it would appear getting
experience with a mackie 1202 (or equivalent behringer or tapco) could
teach you quite a lot about signal flow, which may also be helpful in
Logic as well.
