Has anyone tried sequencing the MD from Cubase SX/SL's "Step Designer" midi plugin? I see you can assign controller levels to the pattern which I'm thinking would handle the parameter locks on MD? You can also sequence in grooves and triplets! My other question is whether anyones knows if it's possible to do this whilst synchronising Cubase's midi clock to the MD (ie having the MD as the master)? Any tales of MD+Cubase woe/joy before I buy would be great!
