Hi, I use the audio input on my Basstation Rack as a midi controlled gate. Works beautifully! and you get another low pass filter to soften the sidstation up a bit when wanted. Also, since most of the noise is in the lower frequency range, I mix in a little of the higher end from the original signal for clarity. The basstation is not the best sounding instrument...
