Elektron Musical Instruments

Before I fire this question over to elektron support, I thought I'd 
ask here. I'm trying to do a sysex dump to my Roland XP-50 
sequencer. I don't use a computer sequencer. No matter what I try, I 
can't get the XP to record the sysex. The weird thing is that I was 
able to in the past with older OSs (1.10) with no problems. The XP 
is set up to receive sysex. I know it's receiving midi from the MD 
because it will record a sequence if I play the MD drum keys. I have 
the MD midi base channels set at 1-4, although I've tried every 
different combination.

Does anyone know what the device number of the MD is? 

Any suggestions, other than using a computer-based sequencer?
