sorry to bring up the tech problem thing just when everyone was breathing a sigh of relief, but this is kind of different my MD has had a faulty encoder since i bought it, it wouldnt coarse adjust which i could live with. however i wrote to elektron (who replied quickly actually) , and asked if they could send me a new encoder for me to replace myself. it will void the warranty, but i am a electronics tech by trade so i trust i can replace it without f*&king it up.(please god). anyway there is someone on the list who has taken MD apart before, can they let me know of any tips when dismantling to help the 'procedure' go without tradgity thank heaps lahonda. --------------------------------- Yahoo!
