There are 3 standards i know of: 1. A mono-linear track. Nothing impressive and the ordinary one. Also the one that you find as a "backuptrack" on HiFi-machines. 2. Linear stereo, which is a monomachine with a splitted audiotrack. These also come with dolby sometimes. Sounds bad in stereo... 3. HiFi-stereo that stores the sound in the same way as the picture, at least more or less. In my opinion the only ones worthy to use for watching a movie. Anything I missed?
