OK, let's start then. :) > Can you tell us what the capacity of the sequencer memory is and > whether it is split between external and internal modes ? The sequencer does not have the traditional limit on "number of notes". There are 128 patterns, each one having up to 64 steps, and you can program every step for all tracks if you'd like. There is a limit to the number of parameter locks you can do per track, but the limit is high and I don't think many people will ever reach the ceiling. Each pattern have six tracks for internal sequencing and six tracks for external MIDI. The external MIDI allow programming of chords, and there is a limit of around 300 "extra chord notes" beside the monophonic trigs for each pattern. > Also number of patterns / songs available . 128 patterns 128 kits with what you would refer to as 6 patches per kit 32 songs > How many presets for each synth group ? The beta units do not ship with any presets. These will be added for OS1.0. As the sound structure will change until 1.0 we didn't think it would make sense to add the presets already as they would need to be reprogrammed anyway when 1.0 is released. The structure of the Monomachine is so different from a traditional synthesizer, so it's hard to say what relates to a normal patch. It depends on how you decide to use it! It can be all from 128 to 128*6=768. Daniel
