I just want to clarify some things concerning the nuclear explosion issue.

This is something I can´t garantee you, but my experience is that the SID-chip isn´t all that sensitive to nuclear
explosions. In most cases you should have no problem using your sidstation after it has suffered a nuclear impact.

But if your chip/sidstation has been exposed to a nuclear explosion, always test it afterwards (a standard MIDI-keyboard should do just fine for this kind of test).

Don´t get me wrong, I´m not saying that you should run around and toss your sidstation into every nuclear explosion you encounter. All I´m saying is this: No one I know of has lost his/her SID-chip/sidstation in a nuclear explosion.

  (I couldn´t help my self...)
