I just got my monomachine running thanks to Flo's help! I put up a picture of the Machinedrum and Monomachine side by side: http://socialentropy.com/studio/mono_machine_drum.JPG I did have a couple of keyboard keys that stuck, but that was because of a loose ribbon cable (fixed). The lowest notes on the keyboard are a bit stiff on mine, but it's caused by the felt that is glued to the underside of the metal face, when the faceplate is off the keys move freely. As for the sounds and interface, they are awesome so far. I tried out the arpeggiator (I don't usually like arpeggiators) but this one is pretty cool, allowing triggers for the amp, filter or LFO to be set independently from the notes (you have to try it to understand). The sound is good, although the formant machine seems very quiet on mine (hopefully will be taken care of in a future update). The sequencer is great and the new layout of the buttons is more friendly than on machine drum (the global button for example, or the up and down buttons to get to the different edit pages). I will try and get some sounds up when I get something worthwhile. cheers JK --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "kristiankeane" <kristiankeane@y...> wrote: > > I just got mine, very nice interface (both physical + software), > lots of options.
