Depends on the kind of machine you use.
You can play only one voice at the time though but a voice can 
contain more than one layer/osc.

Only with the ensemble machine wich is not implemented yet.(or the 
midi seq. for external gear)
Recording chords is not possible at the moment, chords should be 
programmed with locks, Elektron wants chords to be only used by the 
arp. Maybe ask a feature request to make it possible to record 
chords, I know I would like that very much because it's not intuitive 
to program chords. The problem is how the chords are handled with or 
without the arp. I would say, play them as chords with the arp. off 
and redirect them to the arp. when arp. is switched on.
