correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the MD sends MIDI Clock, which I believe is a different format than MIDI Timecode. I stand to be corrected, but I have always understood that to be the case. does Cubase have an option for MIDI Clock as opposed to MIDI Timecode? --- machinedrum99 <machinedrum99@...> wrote: --------------------------------- I can't get Cubase SX to slave to my MD. I can get other hardware to slave to the MD no problem. Only Cubase SX will not slave to my MD. It's driving me insane because I'm sure I've checked every last setting in Cubase and nothing works! This should be easy right? HELP! Here's what I did: 1. Opened "Sync Setup..." in Cubase 2. Set Cubase to slave to MIDI Timecode 3. Set Cubase to listen to the MIDI interface connected to MD 4. Clicked the SYNC button on the transport And now it should work right? Doesn't. It just says "Idle" all the time. I'm sure it's something wrong with Cubase. Yahoo! Groups Sponsor Your use of Yahoo!
