FX Synth/LEDs/Big Grin

2003-11-06 by ofthicktum

Hi
Loving the new update 0.92!
Here are 3 questions and an effect that made me grin.

1) Is the FX synth fully implemented yet?
While playing an external signal into 1 of the MM's inputs, I only seem to get a
triggered input like that of the MDs "EA input"
By increasing the Decay and Hold settings in the AMP edit menu I can get an open
channel, but seems to be a ugly workaround.
Is there/will there be a choice of the gated and filtered Input machines like the
MD?

2) How does the FX synth REV "neibor" option work? I can't for the life of me get it
to effect ANY tracks above or below or in the next village for that matter.
Although I can get it to work on an external input. I'm sure i read a post with
reference to it recently.

3) Has anybody noticed the note indicator LED's aren't triggering accurately?
When I press C4 it lights up the LED for F sharp5, D4 lights up the LED for Gsharp5
and so on.
This is also affecting when I record live using the keyboard. If i record a sequence
live and then check to see what the notes inputed are using the TRIG KEY mini-
keyboard the note given on screen is always a different from the original played
note. Is this a bug??
It can't be something to do with the TRIG OCTAVE option as that is just for the Trig
Keys.....right?

BIG GRIN) I have just put an Inverted Exponential LFO on the DTIM parameter on the
EFFECTS section. You get these great "speeding up" delays.
It goes even wilder still if you stick another LFO on the 1st LFOs depth parameter.
Well it made me smile.

Thanks
David
