like i said, i really like working directly with pattern data, that's fine. i _didn't_ know about undo, after i did the mistake i glanced through the manual _thinking_ i saw something like that but seeing only a kit undo option. i'm going to have to try out this undo pattern feature for future use! now this idea of cutting rather than clearing, that's the best! this is the way it works in LSDj, there's no clear, just cut, so when you get rid of something it's always right there for you until you cut more. i think user definable features are pretty much a pain in the ass and should be reserved for cases when no other solution is possible ... i really wish i just had known about undo ~sigh~ electrodavid i checked your track out, pretty fun + funky, yeah ... those levels need a lot of work! alright, bye awl! j.ordan
