Elektron Musical Instruments

hi, i was wondering if anyone uses midisolutions interfaces with 
their MD?
ive had problems with midisolutions quadrathru and quadramerge. 
these are simple devices that dont require a power supply other than 
midi itself.
the problem is that neither of them can detect any midi messages 
from the MD midi out port. very strange as all other devices work 
with the midisolutions gear just fine. 
ive tested them with jomox xbase09  sequential drumtrax kento 
controller and others!
does anyone have any ideas about why the MD midi is unusual?
