Elektron Musical Instruments

Hello all,

I have been through the weekend that almost killed me.
I came out ok, but my sidstation was not so lucky.
Last night as my band setup, in the basement of a punk
house in West Philadelphia we were just about to teach
those punk kids a thing or two about industrial noise
when much to my horror I found that my dear Sid had
stopped working... and I thougt this weekend couldn't
possibly have gotten worse... I tried restarting it
no luck all the leds just sat there looking at me, all
on none of them wavering in the slightest, the screen
lit but just put off a sickly glow... the elektron
animation didn't roll across it's screen, I proceeded
to hit the X key over and over again hoping (as it 
sometimes does) that it would correct itself...
no such luck... and I thought we were going to have 
trouble with our mpc2000... I nearly lost my mind.

So this is my question... does anyone know what's 
wrong? All the LED's are lighting up, and the screen
is lighting up, but nothing shows up on the screen.
It looks like the OS isn't loading... If anyone has
any insight let me know... I guess I should probably
also send this along to elektron's tech, but they will
probably just read it on the list anyway
