Hi,
it seems to me strange that the length of a note transmitted to the 
MD from an external sequencer or a midi keyboard is not recognised.
Therefore however short the note might be the "super giant kick 
sound" you've programmed will play until its end all the time, making 
it very inconvenient for anyone using external sequencers with the MD.
I think a way to map the note length to the decay parameter of the MD 
is an essential feature and should be implemented on future os 
releases.
Any comments/ suggestions?
