At the least I will need to get some converters, but I think I am going to buy a UK wall-wart for the MD which should work there. I'll swap out the fuse on the MD before taking off. I don't know if I'll have a "travel agency" though, just getting one way tickets there. > Bring a copy (or original) of Elektron's invoices. I will email my sellers about that though. I am going to call the Israeli consulate and find out the scoop on things. I'm betting they will have special forms, but according to their website any musical instruments that come over either as carry-ons or checked baggage should be free from VAT. Proving that they are musical instruments probably won't be hard even if they aren't plugged in. the MnM is pretty obvious, and the machine drum looks just like it. the only other thing i am going to bring is a motu 828mk2 which has an awful lot of audio jacks ... it will, at the least, be an adventure. I will see if I can get the consulate to pre-approve the items or give me direction to where that can be done. luckily, the people on the Israeli customs end ought to be able to speak English substantially better than they did in Argentina when I was there last summer. They didn't even stop my laptop though. ugh I don't have original invoices for my powerbook either. adventure or trouble, it will be something.. chris
