Thanks for the feedback everyone! Much appreciated. Andy, I have a funky workflow that I'm trying out at the moment. I currently make my loops all on the md and mnm with param locks and all, and when I am ready I fire up Live and record the loops into there for further manipulation. After I feel like they all work together well, I go into sequencing mode and arrange them all in there. Most of the filtering and such on the synths is straight off the mono, synced to lfos. I just rip a few different varieties into Live. I love the song mode on both but as I am not currently trying to do any live-pa type stuff, its quicker for me to deal with audio loops than trying to finagle all of the edits that I do into the machines. I also sometimes come up with interesting variations of things that I wouldn't be able to do had I restricted myself to them. Warp markers rule :) Eventually I am going to try and seperate myself from the computer a bit more, but I find that the marriage of the two seems to work best for me, using the machines as sound sources instead of trying to treat them as all in one packages. Really I need to get my hands on an mpc1k so that the sampled bits can stay in there, with everything else staying on the respective hardware, and then I will have a nice portable rig that I could conceivably unleash on people live. I'm pretty much looking to make records for now though... I do enjoy spinning others music with mine :) -Chris * Andy Tarpinian (evildead@...) wrote: > Cool track, did you sequence it on either the MD or MnM?
