Hehe, I got a shirt from drummachine.com too! Yeh, my SID was delayed for about 2 weeks. But it got here the other night and BLAMM! This thing is da nuclear BOMB!! Anyways, Ive been programming patches because i am heavily into sound design and sonic texturing, and I have been truly amazed by the diversity of sound that is possible. I tend to have an affinity for sequencers, trackers and the like, and I have found the wavetable implementation to be easy and intuitive yet unimaginably powerful. As such, I am now in the process of creating 10 patches dedicated to the ultimate might of the wavetable! They are all going to have at least 2 tables, and I am intending to cover a wide spectrum of moods. I should be finished in a week or so, and I would like to share these patches with the rest of the community in the name of science. I have heard some people expressing curiosity of the tables without actually exploring too much, and this would be a help for them. Other people have also attested to the power of the table, and I would like to add to the growing wealth of technical operations data that is being accumulated! I feel that the more people give to a cause, the more everyone will benefit, so let us all continue to press into the future of sound and continue to go where no man has gone before! Could someone direct me to the place where community patch banks are uploaded? >got my sid in two days back. drummachine.com sent me a shirt for free >in make up of taking an extra week....shirts to small.. but oh >well.. YEAH, interesting day. Got home from finals at school to find >a Fedex truck accross the street. I was heartbroken when i saw it >drive off...no sid. but after 5 mins, i desided to check the fedex >tracking number...fucking fedex delivered it to the wrong house... So >i had to go hunt doorways for my box. really destroyed the surprise >of having someone hand it to u at ur door...oh well.... > >everything works fine and dandy..I like the little thing. I found the >hand rounded edges interesting, and the amount of noise >dissapointing. but I have to prevent that. gotta get some bux to get >a compresser/noise gater for it. Right now though,I gotta worry about >programming the beast. Not that is tough, I just have No time from >finals :) anywayz, i'm rambling..... > >btw..which part of the serial number identifies its print number. > >outy >-sean > >hey elektron....get us a computer sid editor!~ :) > > > > >
