Yahoo's mail archive really sucks, which makes it very hard to find anything. I would like to download _all_ mails somehow, that way at least I could search them easily. What I like in the mailinglist format of communication is that I do not have to go to some webpage, suffer slow servers and such. The mails are in my inbox when I start reading mail. > By the way, I never said I wanted to cancel the list h\ufffd. Prefer that? > Then keep using it. Not both. > There has been mentioned the argument that a forum should be Elektron > official. Why couldn't it just be an initiative of the community? (btw, respect jeffry!) I could help out with that too, have been moderating one of the larger Swedish music forums for a couple of years now. > Let's keep this discussion going in a positive way so we can figure > out what the point of view of the community really is (and Elektron's > too). The point? At least to it is this. Communication! All information in one place for all Elektron users. Too bad this list is still on Yahoo though, that makes not as good as a mailing list can be. /Janne
