hey Eitan, i took a listen to your patches. i'm not too thrilled about
random pitch patches (though sometimes they can be used to a great
effect). Dark Hole has some nice sounds you could sample. hit is on is
nicely programed and sounds really great, not thin and weedy at all. I
like how the filter env comes back up on key up, specially with no
release. yields a different effect. Roundtable is a neat little loop,
i like how the bright lead comes in part way through the loop and not
right away.

I'll upload 19 or so patches...most don't exploit the playability of
the sid that much, aftertouch, velocity, dc's....etc. I usually end up
sprucing up patches after i've found a use for them...i also don't
bother naming most patches, i tend to just go nuts and put in random
characters...very randomly. just so that i know there is a patch there
and don't overwrite it. There are two tabled patches. The first one
13 "jgw wamqh" is something i put together sort of randomly and have it
sync'd up externally to i think quarter notes, i can't get it to sound
the same using the sid's clock (may be just imagining that, i don't
have the means to check right now, i'm just goin off some audio i have
recorded using it in a song.). The second one is patch 19 "umnnnftch".
I really like this little loop, just me playing around with all three
tables at different speeds and coming up with something interesting.
I'll leave the others for your own imagination.

Just a friendly remark. I'm not very inclined to download lots of
single patch files in sysex form (i'm only speaking for myself, thank
you). It'd be much more worthwhile to upload groups of patches in Midi
format. Any sequencer can load and save a midi file, but a lot of the
time they can not load up raw sysex. I had to download a little
program that would load up raw sysex called oms-sysex-sender-11-ppc i
found at sharewaremusicmachine.com.
