Hi Andrew, Thanks for replying. Yes, I did contact Kurt a while back (yes, great guy) and he took a look at the sysex records with the length problems (actually the entire dump), and did due diligence, concluding that he could not find a bug in his program. He suspected either an OSX problem or a midiman driver problem. I'm tending toward an OSX problem, because I also have seen the same problem with a MOTU midi interface. Midiman had been looking into this, but, after they assured me they would see this through, I'm getting no response from them. So, at this point, I don't know where to go next. I was hoping maybe someone had gotten further with this than I could. Any other thoughts are welcome. Thanks.
