monomachine inputs

does many of you use the monomachine inputs to treat the incoming
sound? have you ever experienced this:

i have a kit and pattern where i use a effects machine to somehow
treat and filter the input a/b. but sometimes when there's no input
(not necessarily even the plugs connected to the input) to the track
it produces a ringmodulator-type noise. and it goes off by re-starting
the machine.

never had this until now when i made kits with input a/b used...

cheers

I use them a lot and never heard this noise, I usually only use one input
though...
this is with OS 1.03.
Sorry not to be much of help.
Salut!

I'm curious about what kind of applications have you made up for
those inputs? I've tried them couple of times, but I've not come up
with anything good.

Toni.

i never used the inputs before i installed OS 1.05 so i can't say...
but i couldn't believe that a newer OS would have this if older
didn't. i use both inputs, as a stereo. have do more tests to
(hopefully) find exactly what causes this...

thanx

Can you upload the kit and pattern you are using to cause this to
happen? If that won't work, please email it to me, and I'll try and
duplicate the behaviour.

It has been useful for me for example as I have no sample i like to play
sounds live on a microphone and put toghether several(up to six) different
sounds repeating at dif. rates with the bpm at 30 or 45 its quite a long
loop you can make although it is obviously repetition its fun.Its like
another different use of the MM. using no secuenced loops.
The Lfos through an incoming signal (noise, whatever) can make rythm
structures that can change continuously.
The sounds of the mm are wonderful for me, anyway..
 salut!
