I think I just have to choose the machine, right?

Sounds good to me.

alright. I think I'll choose the E12-CB machine then. that should be
a bit easier
than last month's EFM-CY. if people think it's too challenging though
(I think
a few were daunted last month), please let me know and I'll change it.
I'd
rather have more entries than a more challenging contest.

I'll update the files section to reflect this change ASAP.

well, I'd be willing to try it, but since the E12 instruments are all sampled, it's really
difficult to achieve a diverse sonic palette (EG. try making a kick drum out of it). I think
one of the TRX, PI, or EFM machines would be more suitable, but it's up to you.

hmm.... I got a decent bass drum out of it pretty quickly. (I checked
before I
suggested it.) yes, they're sampled but there's still quite a lot you
can
do with it to mangle it into something else. I'll check it out and if
it's too much,
I'll suggest something else.

Actually, after a bit of tweaking, I found I could get some pretty sweet sounds out of the
E12-CB, so I'm cool with sticking to the plan :)
