mono heavy snippet

2005-01-28 by Chris Thomas

Hey guys,
Been listening to some of the mono demos you guys have been makin.. cool
stuff. ;)

I just wanted to share a bit of something I did last month. The track
itself I have not worked on since, but all the synths and pads in here
are off the mono. 3 or 4 pads layered and then one other bleepy synth.
I recorded the loops off the mono and ran them through some eq and
processing in software but for the most part they are unadulterated.
Drums are all sample based hits layered and sequenced..

Thought this may show some more peak time club techno sorta stuff..
since we don't hear much of that on here :)

Hey thanks ;)
It's definetly on the to-do list with about 3 others lol.. you know how
it goes..

I'm kinda in one of those states of non-musicality right now (they come
in go in about 2 week intervals :/) so I've not wanted to work on
anything for sake of not ruining them..

I'll surely post the final up when I get around to it though ;)

Where do you live that you've got heads around that would dig that sorta
thing?

I live in the San Francisco bay area. LOL A lot of ppl here party it
down to house, breaks, and techno, psytrance...etc.. etc...

I was able to see DDR play a live PA set twice in 2 years. I love techno!

Oh nice one.. I've played in Vancouver 3 times but never made it out to
SF yet.. I was under the impression the techno scene there kinda blew
and was mostly west coast deep house and some laid back dnb etc..
That's cool though.. maybe I will make my way out sometime :)

Nice damn living space too man! Hopefully I can find something cool when
I move up to NYC later this year as planned (hopefully :P)

If you ever do make it out this way let me know, and we will kick it.

with another producer, and talk shit.
