what can i say? SIDstation is a very interesting machine! Make sure you try : External resonant filtering (i use FROSTWAVE, ms20 style carving) External effects (analogue delay, or ping pong delays).. Vocoder! (the SID chords vocoded are strang).. nice analogue EQ! (roll off some harsh if you want!) + a little reverb! I make primarily -dark ambient- sounds. This thing creates some truly ominous, multilayered tones.. through effects the sound gets richer as you go ... creates something of the 'ghost' sid tone, where the raspy characters are there but through a layer of deep reflective space. future eater
