Sidstation + Ableton Live

Hello,

I'm switching most of my stuff over to Live and I found an odd bug with 
my Sidstation while using it.  Whenever I hit Play the Sidstation locks 
up  and the Sync, MIDI, and Ext Clk LEDs all flash rapidly until I hit 
the "D" key on the Sidstation.  After that it's fine until I hit Play 
again.  It looks like it's getting confused with some midi data and 
trying to reset.  Has anyone else run into this?  The Sidstation works 
fine with Logic and Cubase, so I don't know what could be causing it.

First off, if you haven't already, you should take a look at the SID
manual to find out what it means when all the LED's flash like that.

A shot in the dark though: you may have unintentionally recorded some
automation within one of your MIDI clips. Check the envelopes listed
under "MIDI Ctrl" in the clip that's driving the SID for any weirdness.

FWIW, I've been using the SID with Live a lot lately, and haven't
encountered anything like this. There's also a possibility that your
MIDI interface is doing something funky.

Oops, sorry for the empty post - just got out of bed ;-)

OK, here goes:

Nice track. A little bit too much distortion for me. Would be very cool with
some vocoded vocals a la Daft Punk. Try it and post the result!

Agreed.  The drum programming is nice and funky, though.  Good use of 
the stick (it sounds like) at around 2:05.  I like the stabby sound that 
comes in on beat 4 every so often.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
