Elektron Musical Instruments

Hey list..
  Hows this sound?  A synth built around the sid chip..  with a fullsize 
keyboard..  and a dedicated knob or slider for most of the available 
parameters...  It would be like any of the "analog modeling" synths out there 
today.  Give it a cool C-64 look and it would be a hit.  Too bad the chips 
are in short order.  I don't think programming the sidstation is bad at all, 
and i dont have any problem with it, but imagine if it was like how i 
described..
with a sequencer..
and some on board effects..

Please explain to me: a full size keyboard for a monophone synth?????
It would be too expensive anyway: there's no market for that...

ah yes that could be good.. 
any chance of a gate in the OS using the nifty motorola cpu??

any chance of DSP at all ? (what are the capabilities?)

As far as I know, there's no Motorola in it... I'm quite sure a gate is not
possible otherwise I'm sure it would have been in it already.
