elektron-users.com radio

2005-03-07 by Scott Kellogg

Hi everyone,

I have plans to have 24/7 streaming elektron-users.com radio, featuring
music created by us, the users of Elektron equipment. If you would
like to have your music considered for inclusion in the playlist,
please email me.

The only stipulation with the music is that it features Elektron
equipment prominently in the mix.

Regards,
Scott Kellogg

This sounds like an exciting and interesting venture. I'd be well up
for supplying you some music for it.

My only complaint/suggestion is that it may be a bit fascistic to
want Elektron sounds featuring prominently 24/7. Not sure of the need
for it. And could you enforce such a rule, in any case? I for one
tend to tinker with my sounds so much in SoundForge that even the
Sidstation isn't always recognisable.

It's the spirit of the thing that matters. If Elektron's in there,
then it's good.

At first, I would like to collect a few hours' worth of stuff. It will
play in a continous loop. As time goes by, the loop will get longer.
Long term plans include podcasting, as well as live streaming
performance.  I have the infrastructure on the server side to do this;
it's a matter of getting the performer able to upload a stream to the
relay.

I'd be into that...once I actually own the
Monomachine.
