The bottom of the message states:

"After your order is paid you
will receive instructions within 36 hours on how to proceed and where to
send your SPS-1. You will receive a RMA-number which you will need to get
the upgrade carried out."

So we have to wait for more info from Elektron

I also noticed that they say

"We will offer three service points in the world: USA, UK and Sweden."

After that thread about the fact that USA guy seems to be not reliable
(slow) with repairs, imagine what's gonna happen when he has to do like 25
MD's in two weeks!

If I was a US person wanted the upgrade I would contact elektron first to
make sure you are safe in sending your baby away...

Thanks - looks like I skipped the directions.

I agree, I sent an email off to support about that.

But from the wording of the email it looks like the service centers may send
them off to Sweden to actually get upgraded (?) It talked about import
duties and shipping cost, which would seem to indicate that.

you have to be a friend. if you are, then log in to your account
and you'll see a message right away that will take you to
the upgrade process.
