1)Record the creepy sound for use in another composition 2)Write down, step by step, what you need to do to consistently cause the behavior to happen 3)Post it here so we can try it 4)Submit it to Elektron support /Scott On May 25, 2005, at 10:25 AM, johnvager55 wrote: > Hello , > > I've just installed the 1.05b OS on my monomachine and when i'm trying > to record a track live (By pressing copy + clear),the machine bug and > fill the whole track with notes and a very creepy sound is comin > out !! > Should i go to the former OS ?? > > Please help !! > > > > > ------------------------ Yahoo! I'll try and remember to do this tonight. You can get the old OS here: http://www.monomachine.com/files/os/Mono_105_syx_mid.zip /Scott On May 25, 2005, at 10:46 AM, johnvager55 wrote: > Hello scott, > > I've just have to > 1/Switch on the mono > 2/Select a clear pattern > 3/Just press copy + clear > And then it start to bug and i need to switch the power off to stop > the awful high pitched noise which is true i should sample lol!!! > > By the way do you know where i can download the former OS because it > use to work allright !! yikes. the 1.05b OS was released to fix that bug. it's
worked here, so far.
do you have the sfx-6 {keyboard} or the sfx-60 {rack}?

aleph null. a simple insinuation around silence.

Also, when you boot your Mono, do you see '1.05b' in the LCD? It's
possible that your upgrade didn't work properly. This has happened
to me with a certain MIDI interface.

Have people tried soft reset from the early boot up menu. It could fix this, maybe... I think it doesn't clear the memory, but resets the OS variables or something. You can check this from the manual (don't have my MnM here). It's also possible that OS transfer didn't succeed for some reason. If it did it should say 1.05b in the lcd when booted (just like Scott said). Toni. --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, Scott Kellogg <glaive@g...> wrote:
