I think we need two email lists here

a) Elektron amateur support, where endless emails
about people with broken machines go

b) *Elektron users*, where useful information, patches
and stuff for people with working machines who aren't
elektron tech support. 

I mean, I keep reading it because once in a while a
decent track gets posted or something reveals a little
bit of technique that I find useful, but typically
it's this tech support noise that just brings me down.

ask elektron for designated forums {email or whatever}, or
jump over the elektron users bulletin board.  i prefer
email, myself, but elektron links to this yahoogroup from
their support page.  a pair of mailing lists, run on
mailman, would be much nicer.
