Yes!

Woops, I didn't ask. Daniel?

Didn't check that. Dunno for sure.

Just checked the large picture Daniel posted a couple weeks back and
there is a MUTE button there. My guess is you hit MUTE and select
one of the 16 buttons to mute a specific track.

These questions are probably for Daniel but does the sequencer allow
you to specify a specific channel for each of the 16 tracks or does
everything get sent to one channel and you've got a different note
for each of the 16 tracks. This is really only relevant for
sequencing external gear w/ the MD.

What type of midi events does the sequencer record from external
gear? Just Note On/Off & Velocity? Or can you also record various
CC messages (so for example, record notes and filter sweeps on a
sidstation - play that track back to the channel that the sidstation
(or Virus, or Nord, or whatever) resides on and have the filter
sweeps play back.

Is there an Event editor like the MPC or Cakewalk/Logic/etc. where,
for example, you can find a midi event for filter cutoff (or
pitchbend or whatever) and change the value from say 5 to 25?

Thanks,

JP

Correct.

Different notes for different channels. It might be possible to map them
to different channels in the future. Letting a channel trigger different
notes would be cool for sequencing other gear. Perhaps we'll be able to
get it in later.

NOTE_ON and relevant CTRL-change for the parameters.

It doesn't work that way. The MD does not record straight MIDI events
events like an standard sequencer.

Daniel,

I know you're probably swamped but can you throw a few more scraps
our way. We haven't heard anything about the Machinedrum since mid
March. Can you tell us anything more about the synthesis techniques,
specs, sounds, anything?

Are you still shooting for an April release?
