Elektron Musical Instruments

Hey guys,

  First off, I'm getting real scratched up and itchy over this barely 
acknowledged delay of the machine drum. I can only hope it's to 
include some awesome features (like the user switchable/replaceable 
DSP models). The main thing I want to know about though, is bit and 
sample reduction. First - any chance of an effect or control for that 
in the machine drum? That would turn the box from being an "if I can 
find the money" box to a "I will find the money. I only need one 
kidney, after all." box for me. Second - does anybody know any good 
resources for bit or sample reduction software? I used to have a copy 
of a plug-in called the "Sonic Decimator" but I lost it and have no 
idea who makes it. Has it become an out of fashion effect left by the 
wayside? Are there any decent stomp or rack effects units with it?
