Elektron Musical Instruments

hi folks

this is my first post although ive been lurking here for nearly 2 years

my question is, do i need to save/backup all my kits, patterns etc 
before i send my MD off for a UW upgrade? does it come back in a 
factory restored condition, or will my stuff still be there?

also, when they do the upgrade, am i right in thinking the whole 
machine will come back with the latest OS installed?

im sending it off on monday so any replies would be much appreciated

all of your work will be wiped.  save it!

great, thats all i need to know, cheers dude. i cant wait to get this 
upgrade thingy. all my kits have input machines, cos i always run 
other gear through the MD, such as mc202 or my shitty zoom sampler. 
you truly can make a silk purse out of a pigs ear with a machinedrum!!

And I would gladly pay a handsome sum in coin of the realm for said  
silk purse!  huzzah!
