what is 'Future X10' I wonder....?

What is a Turbointerface?

And are they talking about the MD itself, or the out of focus device in the bottom of the picture that looks like it is an add-on for the MD.

The way the panel on that device has a straight edge on the right side, with a similar screw head to the MD panel, and then a curved edge on the left side, it looks like maybe it is some sort of add-on for the MD designed to sit on the left hand side of the MD or to be used remote from the MD as well.

Is 'future' part of the name of the new product, or does it mean it will be available in the future?

Does X10 = extend?

I'd say it is MD+UW+Turbointerface

probably "times ten". it'll be a fast way to send and
receive samples to and from the machinedrum userwave.

I wonder when the X10/turbo interface/midi sample dumper will be ready....
I for one cant wait to have an easier method for transferring samples...

If all it does is speed up sample transfer times then...ummm...
nothing, not interested. If it does something else, we'll have to see
then!

Yeah, I would put it on my top ten list of what to buy next if it's a
like an HD for samples...

It would be indeed. A little SD/CF type slot on the side.

It's my impression that it's a MIDI interface optimized for Elektron
devices delivering 8-10x the performance of standard MIDI (less
latency) but can be used in standard mode for non-Elektron devices.

Throw a little flash memory slot in there so you can untether from a
computer and I'd purchase it.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
