Hi, while I anxiously await for my UW upgrade, I was wondering: 

it samples at 12bit, correct?  what about sample tranfers through MIDI?  
do you have to convert samples to 12bit before transfering, or will it 
load samples of all different bit depth easily?

also, is there an option to sample at less than 12bit?

It will automatically convert to 12bit, and one of the parameters of
the ROM machine is Sample Rate Reduction.
